Formula One times from the practice session at the Monte Carlo circuit - Despite a rain shower forcing drivers onto the intermediate Pirelli tyres in the later half of the ninety minutes, during the dry spell Jenson Button in the McLaren managed to improve on the top time set by Fernando Alonso in the morning session with a lap of 1’15.746, nearly four tenths of a second ahead of the Lotus of Romain Grosjean and 0.856 faster than Brazilian Felipe Massa in the red F2012 on the supersofts who in turn was barely a tenth faster than the Spaniard from Oviedo.
