 MotoGP report - Casey Stoner left nothing to chance this afternoon and scored his fourth pole of the season and thirtieth of his career (26 in MotoGP class) at the Silverstone circuit, which will tomorrow host the sixth round of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship, his team-mate Andrea Dovizioso will start on the second row of the grid, in fifth position.

  MotoGP results of the qualifying session at the circuit in Silverstone - Australian Casey Stoner on the Repsol Honda has completed the full house in topping the timesheets of all the sessions by securing pole position and smashing the Silverstone lap record during qualifying of the AirAsia British Grand Prix ahead of San Carlo Honda Gresini rider Marco Simoncelli and reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo on the factory Yamaha.

MotoGP results of the practice session at the circuit in Silverstone - Repsol Honda’s Casey Stoner maintained his dominant form and posted the quickest lap of the AirAsia British Grand Prix weekend, a 2’03.487, at Silverstone in the third and final practice session while Marco Simoncelli on the San Carlo Gresini Honda continued his charge to set the second fastest time of the morning and Yamaha Factory Racing's Texan Ben Spies improved his standings by moving up to third, just under half a second of the top time.
